''Draugen'' is a first person horror adventure being created by Red Thread Games. Set in the 1920's, an American naturalist visits a Norwegian fishing village to find that the town's population have vanished. The player must explore the town, discover its fate and survive the night.
The game will introduce the rest of the world to some of the creepier aspects of Norwegian folklore, and is being developed for PC, Mac and Linux. Red Thread received a grant of NOK850,000 (US$144,000) from the Norwegian Film Institute to produce the game.
