There is a short description of a Carromeleg training in the novel Ragnarok by Stepen Kenson (chapter 3, p.39-40). Though I don't think it's detailed enough to be used as a main source. -- Loki

==Style==
While third edition did link the style to the dance-like wikipediacapoeira, I am pretty sure that the word (and the older descriptions) implied minimal movement. I.E. only the movement tht is required to land a blow, or dage one, etc. Furthermore, Fourth Edition no longer links it to capoeira. Any one know more? UserMJBurrage 1919, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

Is there a place for fan material here? Chris Hepler and Jennifer Brandes wrote an excellent series of articles about martial arts for RPGs from the perspective of real-world modern and historical martial arts, and the article https//dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7982949/hitmyth2.pdf Why Aren't Those Peasants Bowing? Developing Your Own Art of War has a solid page of their take on carromeleg, including how it's taught and how it relates to the specific threats it was meant to combat (e.g. avoid the opponent's hands at all costs, because a skinny elf who gets grabbed by a troll or obsidiman grappler is in big trouble).

(The other two articles in the series are https//dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7982949/TLPHitmyth.pdf The Hits and Myths of Martial Arts and https//dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7982949/fwithstyle.pdf Fighting With Style Whupping Ass in Three Game Systems; I'm linking them individually because the original page seems to have vanished.)
