'''Nachtmeister''' (German for "Night Master", a name possibly based on his black scale color) was a Great Dragon and head of Germany's banking corp FBV. He was a key player in the Proteus AG corporation starting from the year 2056 and used his financial influence through the FBV to clandestinely fund Proteus.

On June 21, 2062, Nachtmeister was (presumably) killed by Lofwyr in a spectacular aerial duel above Frankfurt.
