The '''Chupacabra''' is believed to be a genetically engineered creature. They contain both reptilian and mammalian DNA as well as a variant of HMHVV in its genome. The chupacabra is a bipedal creature and stands 1.2 meters tall. They often appear to be a cross between a iguana and a monkey, with a head similar to that of an iguana, opposable thumbs, and green scales and dark coarse hair.
The Chupacabra requires a diet of blood, which it usually gets from goats and cattle. It is also know to attack metahumans from time to time as well.
Despite carrying HMHVV, the Chupacabra cannot infect others with the virus.
