The '''Sticky Launcher''' is a weapon cut from ''Half-Life 2''. It can be found in the playable Development of Half-Life 2 game|''Half-Life 2'' leak.

==Overview==

Appearing like the standard ''Half-Life 2'' 9mm Pistol (Half-Life 2)|pistol, it shoots "Sticky Bombs",Development of Half-Life 2 game|''Half-Life 2'' leak source code red/pink blobs that stick to anything, including enemies (but not to each other), and somehow reflect the surrounding environment. The player can then detonate them with the secondary fire key, much like the Satchel Charge or the S.L.A.M. It also has long range firing capabilities (like a grenade) if pointed higher. It uses medium rounds, which are also used by the OICW and AK-47.Playable Development of Half-Life 2 game|''Half-Life 2'' leak

It is unknown what faction was to use the weapon nor if it was to be in the final version of the game. The pistol model is also probably a placeholder.

==Trivia==

*A similar weapon, the http//wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Sticky_bomb_launcher sticky bomb launcher, is used by the http//wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Demoman Demoman in ''http//wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Team_Fortress_2 Team Fortress 2''. However, the sticky bombs do not stick to enemy players, buildings, or gates. It is unknown if this weapon was made from scratch or is an actual descendant of the Sticky Launcher, which could be its prototype featured in the ''Half-Life 2'' leak for some reason.

*The Magnusson Device effects are similar to that of the Sticky Launcher.

*The Sticky Launcher is included in ''Half-Life 2'' mods such as ''Missing Information'' and ''SMOD''.

*The Sticky Bomb model is also produced by the Physgun's secondary fire.
