Hey dude D Skype sucks, I know... I'm back on IRC. I just needed a day off heh {{unsigned}}

== Screencap! ==

Hello, I'm DanielFaradayLover. I was wondering if you could get a couple of screencaps of Daniel and Charlotte (Charladay, mostly). Thank you, --UserDanielFaradayLover 2104, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
** Sure, do you have any particular episodes/moments in mind? -- UserTheAma1|TheAma1 2143, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

== Episode pictures ==

Yo, what's up? I was just wondering why you reverted the episode pictures from Season 4. I guess I could just change them back but then we'll have an edit war, it'll become immature, and I'll end up sitting in a corner and crying. P I was wondering 2 things
1. What's wrong with the pictures I put? 2. Is there any way we could reach an agreement in a serious and mature way? (rock-paper-scissors) Cheers, UserObiDanKenobi5 0224, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
First, the images you are referring to have been here between 6 to 10 months (basically since the epis were broadcast) and haven't been changed since suggesting the majority of people agree with the choice, unlike say the pics inside the epis summaries, which have been often changed (and continue to be). Moroever, the images themselves are of far better quality and resolution (720p and 1080p vs a poor 210) leading to greater details and natural colors. Ultimately I have no problem with some of the pic choices (for instance I gladly "upgraded" the resolution regarding pics you chose for 5x02) but suddenly changing emblematic pictures for others of inferior visual quality seems completely pointless and harmful. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1407, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

== About The Unknown Station ==

You keep insisting that it is called the "Lighthouse", but you have no proof that this is so. Why don't you hold your horses and wait till the name is officially revealed alright? --UserLOST-The Cartographer 1749, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't keep insisting that iti is called the Ligthouse, I was referencing its use on the show on Hawking's computer. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1753, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

== Episode Pics ==

Ok, now I have a suggestion. How about you "upgrade" the pictures I've uploaded, as they better symbolize each episode. For example, Jack's picture of him reading a story to Aaron is far better than just his sad face when listening to Hurley; Hurley's face when telling jack "Never say never" has more effect that Hurley just lying on the ground, after all, it's the beginning of the end. 4x02's picture of just Faraday is just wrong, as it is not his centric - that's why I put a picture of a Tunisian newpaper, claiming the plane was found and the bodies were CONFIRMED DEAD. If you could "upgrade" those images it'd be great. UserObiDanKenobi5 1320, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
The tunisian newspaper is in French and doesn't embodies the episode. On the contrary, Faraday crying and not knowing why is a WTF moment that impacts the viewer, unlike that French newspaper. As I said previously, those S4 pics have been around for like ages and people had no problem before, hence the fact that they would "better symbolize each episode" for the majority of peeps not just me. I agree with Hurley from 401 so I'll upgrade that one but why are you then reverting back such pics as Ana (502)? Also, why are you replacing for S5 the exact same pictures posted previously but with ones of inferior quality? Like http//lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/ImageSunVSWidmore.jpg replaced by http//lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Image5x01_SunAndCharles.jpg or Alpert's compass? - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1331, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
 That was before I saw there were already the same pictures uploaded. Also, the Ana picture you uploaded, I think at least, is not sporting the best quality, so I changed it. Again, we might disagree, but I believe you're more knowledgable when it comes to graphic pictures - I am myself a writer on this wiki, not a designer. == Secondary protocol ==

"It is strongly implied that the information contained in the document refers to future events."--I'm not sure what you mean by this. Can you clarify? If you just mean to say it contained contingency instructions, how is that noteworthy, inasmuch as any plan contains information about "future events"? UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1839, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Well first off, there's the Orchid logo, which as we know is linked to time-travel. In addition, there is the conversation between Keamy and Gault which implies this.
KEAMY It's the secondary protocol.
GAULT What does it say?
KEAMY Says '''where Linus is going'''.
GAULT How would Mr. Widmore know that?
So basically it is implied that the document contains "future events" regarding stuff on the Island (like where Ben is going, etc.)- UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1846, 31 January 2009 (UTC) Okay, but I still don't understand the meaning of the sentence you added. Foresight is a basic human capacity of the imagination. If you tell me you're out of breakfast cereal and in dire need, and I know where you go grocery shopping, it's a good bet I might find you at the supermarket. If Widmore knows about the Orchid, and he knows its "last resort" utility, he might wager Ben would head there to try to move the Island. So... what exactly is meant by "information contained in the document refers to future events"? Any contingency plan, any plan, refers to future events. UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1851, 31 January 2009 (UTC) I'll also add that if Widmore really knew the future in this instance, he'd know that sending Keamy to the Orchid was bound to fail. UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1852, 31 January 2009 (UTC) Perhaps the phrase I put in the article was too confusing, but I think there should be some mention of the Keamy/Gault conversation and the ambiguity of the protocol's content. We do not yet know enough re Widmore/The Orchid to know exactly what he knows about the Island (and it's future/past/whatever) and what is on the protocol. For all we know, he could have time shifted or whatever to obtain that info. Whatever the case may be, if Widmore knew about the Orchid, etc., then why all the secrecy and security behind the secondary protocol instead of just telling Keamy that if something goes wrong he should go the Orchid? The protocol contains major information used for last resort (perhaps to try to change the outcome of the future? Widmore already seems to have broken "the rules" regarding Alex's death). It's content is unknown but from what we can gather it is somehow linked to "what is going to happen on the Island/Ben's future whereabouts". - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1901, 31 January 2009 (UTC) The concept that certain information is on a need-to-know basis is pretty standard in secret military work. To limit dissemination of secret information, you don't tell people unless or until they need to know. By itself, I don't think saying a contingency plan contains "future information" is saying anything substantive. If you want to get into speculation about the content of the secondary protocol document, the article page isn't the place to do it. A UQ "How does Widmore know about the Orchid?" does the trick. UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1910, 31 January 2009 (UTC) ==Enhanced== And reLapidus. It doesn't say he didn't return to civilization. It says he didn't return to civilization with the Oceanic Six. That's neither new nor clarifying, that's just what we've seen. UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1856, 31 January 2009 (UTC) Then why not say the same thing about Penny & Desmond for instance? - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1903, 31 January 2009 (UTC) Because the caption was clarifying for the audience that even though Jack was asking Lapidus if he was okay with conforming to their story, don't be confused, audience, Lapidus isn't one of the Oceanic Six and he doesn't go back with them. UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1910, 31 January 2009 (UTC) Okay fair enough. ) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1914, 31 January 2009 (UTC) == Camera Movement == Thanks for the add-on to the the item in Production notes for {{Ep}}; it made it clearer. I wonder, are we supposed to think it hurts more now than it did before?--{{Usergaarmyvet/sig}} 0050, 15 February 2009 (UTC) *You're welcome. If we don't edit together, the wiki's gonna die alone. D And, yeah I guess the more you jump, the harder it gets. ) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 0052, 15 February 2009 (UTC) ==ReImg== Unprotected. But can you tell me as soon as you've added a better version so I can re-protect? Thanks, --{{UserNickb123/sig}} 1228, 16 February 2009 (UTC) == Camera Movement (Revisited) == I just wanted to tell you that I sacrificed you comments relative to Saw because people were talking about removing the entire entry from This Place is Death. Take care.--{{Usergaarmyvet/sig}} 1740, 16 February 2009 (UTC) *No problemo. ;) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1142, 17 February 2009 (UTC) == Richard Alpert == Just curious, what is considered to be a mystery about Richard Alpert other than his age? It just seems odd to me that we would actually call a person a mystery rather than something about them. {{UserJimbo the tubby/sig}} 2058, 18 February 2009 (UTC) *Well everything about him is a mystery honestly. Like where he came from, his appearance, his link to the Others and Jacob, etc. (see his Richard_Alpert) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 2107, 18 February 2009 (UTC) == Images == I have noticed your behavior with images, You tend to replace the images with the exact same images you find. It is unnecessary. (Example ImageTheyfoundit.jpg and ImageLampInterior.jpg) They both are the same, so why must you replace it with another same picture? Are you trying to get all the credit? -- {{usernusentinsaino/sig}} 1648, 19 February 2009 (UTC) *First up, I don't replace the images with the exact same image. Save for the lamp post pic, what are you talking about? When I "replace with the exact same image", it is either when I'm upgrading the pics from poor quality/resolution to HQ/HD pics and/or when the files are .png/.gif and not .jpg. As for the Lamp Post interior, I didn't know at the time you had taken the pic since, http//lostpedia.wikia.com/index.php?title=316&diff=534412&oldid=534407 as you can see via the epi's history page, no pic of the lamp post had at the time been posted there, and since I primarily visit the epi's page to illustrate it with pics... If that really bothers you, go replace it with LampInterior.jpg. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1657, 19 February 2009 (UTC) == Lamp Post == The closed caption stream reads "Lamp Post". What is the textual evidence for "Lamp-Post"? I mean, if there is competing evidence, we can have a substantive discussion. Until then, you can't just go by "That's what it's called in Narnia" as the argument for the hyphen. Cheers, UserRobert K S K S (User talkRobert K S) 1716, 19 February 2009 (UTC) == Spoilers == Umm, I think you don't have to worry about that because they are just titles... I know a lot of spoilers that are coming up and the titles are the least of your worries, but yeah I have to follow the spoiler policy, and I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me. -- {{usernusentinsaino/sig}} 1913, 22 February 2009 (UTC) ==Sorry== Ok sorry, I just thought this question is of really little relevance - there's a million and one different ways they might have got hold of the photo. But you're right I should've left an explanation '''Integrated''' (UserIntegrated / User talkIntegrated) 0141, 22 February 2009 (UTC) == High quality TVS == Hello Alex, Images you upload are of higher screen resolution. Could you please upload a high quality image of the painting in Jack's apartment in 316? Here's a http//lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Image5x06_jack%27s_apartment_painting.jpg copy I've uploaded earlier, but it has a low quality as you can see. TIA. —UserIimitk 2245, 24 February 2009 (UTC) *Sure thing. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 2304, 24 February 2009 (UTC) Thanks. ) —UserIimitk 2316, 24 February 2009 (UTC) Hi, do you think you could upload a clean shot of this http//i.iimmgg.com/images/gr/0ec7dc159f7bf4a00134351da93f94f9.jpg for the Daniel's Map article? Thanks! --UserHugo815 0003, 27 February 2009 (UTC) *Done and added to the page. ;) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1000, 5 March 2009 (UTC) == Image policy == I checked image policy, and I did not see any rule about jpg to png. Can you please provide a direct quote? --{{UserSam McPherson/sig}} 2357, 26 February 2009 (UTC) *My bad, I thought I saw it in the IP. I'm gonna warn the sysops. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 0956, 5 March 2009 (UTC) == IMG tags == Could you please tag your images with TemplateImg tags? It's no fun to have to go back and add copyright information to each image that you've uploaded. Thanks. --{{UserSam McPherson/sig}} 2301, 1 March 2009 (UTC) *My priority is with the pics themselves, not the tagging. It's like when people create pages, they usually dont put the Categories at the bottom. Nonetheless, if you're tired of editting you can always let the other peeps do it. ;) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 0957, 5 March 2009 (UTC) == Images == Hey, As much as I love your chocies of images, I'll have to ask you one thing - please, categorize the images you upload! It's not that hard! P Simply use the template that generates categories for you - for example, for an image of Sawyer from 5x08, just write {{img=tvs}}! Cheers, {{UserObiDanKenobi5/sig}} 1314, 5 March 2009 (UTC) *Yeah I'll try to do better now. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1645, 6 March 2009 (UTC) == Because You Left == I noticed you've been changing the picture for B.C.L. after me and I was hoping you would stop. If you look back you can se that I made a point when putting it in and seeing as its been up now for over a month and youve been the only one thats changed it it seems to be well liked. Also I believe it goes with the theme, as many people believe this episode to be daniel centric and while thats debatalbe His picture better represents the theme "because you left" then a picture of ben watching tv does. If you have another picture in mind then feel free but the picture of ben is ridiculous.--UserCzygan84 0544, 6 March 2009 (UTC) *Why would what you think alone outweigh a decision that has been on for almost two months now? If you have a problem with the episode thumbnail, discuss it on the Discussion Page of said episode. Now please stop changing 2 months-old picutres to fit your personnal need. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1645, 6 March 2009 (UTC) ***Firt of cut the lying man this pic wasnt up for two months I changed it to the Daniel picture weeks ago and no one seemed to have a problem besides you and by the way when was the decision made to have this picture as the main one and who made it i was just wondering. Second off okay Ill take it to the disscusion board and when Im right and the consesus agrees with me then its getting changed and I don't wanna heard anything. Finally I wasnt changing it to fit my personal need I was dooing what was best for the site, the picture now is a joke and I was just fixing it. So for now I'll leave it but when I start getting some back then it is going back to the way it was.--UserCzygan84 0501, 7 March 2009 (UTC) == Picture == Alright I noticed when you changed the picture you refrenced your talk page so I took a look and saw your previous conversations on episode pics. So im guessing your the one who puts these up, look I like pretty much every episode pic up, and they all make since, but the one for 5x01 makes absolutely no sense I saw above you were willing to compromise, well can you honestly tell me that a pic of ben watching hugo on tv better symbolizes the episode becaue you left then the reveal of Daniel working for dharma. All im sayin is the focus of that episode is really on the people on the island even a pic of locke watching the beechcraft or of a time flash. The theme is "because you left" so shouldnt the picture show whats happening because the o6 left. I just wanna come to a resolution on this and i dont think any1 else really cares but it bugs the hell out of me.--UserCzygan84 0654, 8 March 2009 (UTC) == Namaste == I noticed you keep changing 2008 to 2007. It is not uncommon for title cards to round a bit, rather than saying 30 years, 2 months, 16 days, etc. It's a little over 30 years, but it's not 2007. Locke's passport was issued Dec 2007 after he arrived at the exit. He was there for approx. a month before Ben killed him. We know this because Jack told Ben over Locke's coffin that Locke came to see him a month ago. So the earliest Locke died was Jan 2008, and the departure and crash of 316 was after Locke died. It has to be 2008. There's a discussion on the talk page if you'd like to contribute your thoughts, but please stop changing it to 2007 until it's been proven by canon that these other timestamp events should be disregarded. --{{UserLOSTonthisdarnisland/sig}} 1506, 19 March 2009 (UTC) ==Upcoming Interview== Hi There, Nice work scoring the Cuse and Lindelof interview! As for the interview, basically it is just that, an interview, I don't really have the time (nor the pull) to ask personal questions. ) - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 2131, 24 March 2009 (UTC) ****Ok, bad luck. I will try to reach the organizers again. However, I would like to kindly draw your attention to replace images with as much resemblance to the original ones as possible. For example, you've replaced http//images4.wikia.nocookie.net/lostpedia/images/archive/d/da/20090327001011%215x10-oldham-tortures-sayid.jpg with http//images1.wikia.nocookie.net/lostpedia/images/d/da/5x10-oldham-tortures-sayid.jpg. They are majorly different and two independent shots. The latter is before Sayid goes under influence, therefore the caption in "He's Our You", which reads "A drugged Sayid reveals untold information about DHARMA stations" becomes inaccurate. That's all. Cheers. ) —{{UserIimitk/sig}} 2034, 27 March 2009 (UTC) == Beechcraft == Why do you keep changing the Beechcraft to Partially Answered, when there's only one question left about it "What was its final destination?". We know why it landed on the Island and how, because of its electromagnetism and he landed there because the Island moves and on one of its moves it appeared under the Beechcraft's crashing point. I think that it should be kept as Answered for now. Also I think that Abaddon is pretty much answered as a person (who he is? who does he work for?) as well as Raising Aaron (though debatable, he should've been raised by Carole all along). --{{UserOrhan94/sig}} 1611, 5 April 2009 (UTC) *A plane from Africa landed on an island in the middle of the Pacific? "The Island moves" doesn't solve every answer honestly. That's like saying "it's their destiny/they have work to do" for every question relating to the characters. I don't care about the plane's original destination, I would however like to know how it ended up on the Island, and that is still unanswered. As for Abaddon being solved as well as Aaron, that can be debated on the Discussion Tab. - UserTheAma1|TheAma1 1617, 5 April 2009 (UTC) == IMG tags == I know that I have asked you this once before, but '''please''' tag your images when you upload them.
