'''''wikipediaAre You There God? It's Me, Margaret? It's Me, Margaret''''' was written by wikipediaJudy_Blume in 1970. It is a "young adults" novel, aimed at early adolescent girls, about Margaret, a girl of that age who is exploring her desire for a cohesive religion. The protagonist also confronts other pre-teen issues, such as buying her first bra, having her first period, and liking boys.

Due to its relatively frank treatment of adolescent sex and religions and ideologies, this book is one of the top 100 most frequently challenged books at libraries (i.e., books that have been requested to be banned), according to the American Library Association. It also shares this list with ''Lost'' literary references A Wrinkle in Time and The Outsiders.
