==Great job and change small things==
Excellent work ;), I'll just change 3 small things. Already Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War should be first Deus Ex: Human Revolution. In addition in future, for each page displayed on the home, for example "Items" and "Weapons", I create their own page and then put their own page when it is done instead of category page. Also, title images are not transparent or background color, I'll do it.
Add news too but I don't know how but it should not be complicated =). And correct some mistake, Area 51 doesn't appears in ''Deus Ex: Invisible War'' for example.
Otherwise I say again, great job! User:Itachou|ItachouUser talk:Itachou|~talk~ 18:22, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
Like I said earlier, there will be improvements (including news) but it will take some time. Specially because DA2s' launching day is getting near I have to spend some time with Admin work in DA Wiki. -- User:Snfonseka|Snfonseka 18:49, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
:No problem ;). I'm the most active admin and contributor of the Wiki and CAM2 entrusted to me personally, so don't worry if I change some stuff from here and there but you've already done a huge work, I'm publish the news, you can go for rest for now =)! Ha yes, an infobox which served for Deus Ex: Human Revolution characters, moved since the Wiki has already an characters infobox, no need two, but the infobox was interesting so I renamed this and keep in the shadow. Finally, this infobox is the " Organisation Infobox ", so no deleting ;). User:Itachou|ItachouUser talk:Itachou|~talk~ 18:49, February 19, 2011 (UTC)
== Hi, I propose we change the weapon infobox parameter of "Clip Size" to "Base Capacity" ==
Going through some of the articles I noticed that "clip size" is the phrase used to denote ammo capacity. Maybe it's a really small nitpick, but no featured weapons in the Deus Ex games use "clips." Clips are technically pieces of metal that simply hold (or clip) bullets together, but have no mechanical function of their own in the loading of a firearm. The pistols, rifles, and shotguns use magazines (Using the words clip and magazine interchangably with gun users, will get you talked down by them.), the flamethrowers use fuel canisters, the cattle prods uses batteries.
Furthermore, the numbers listed are set in and inflexible. For example the pistol entry is set at 6. In the games you could modify the weapon's ammunition capacity. The number six is only the base capacity. Maybe it's a small nitpick, but think about it.User:The Youth Counselor|The Youth Counselor 13:24, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
Just thinking out loud, but in my opinion there should be a link to the timeline page somewhere on the front page.

== News nonsense ==
What leaked wasn't a "first level", it's the press preview many gaming sites based their previews on back in April and May; it's advertised as about ten hours long. While it's true that the "first level"(which is actually the Prologue) is linear and features no augmentations, there are many channels which show way beyond that. ==Countdown Template?==
I was considering making a template counting down the days until Human Revolutions US release, but the template is not on the wiki and Im not sure how to make one. Any Ideas? User:Dorgles|Dorgles 18:31, June 15, 2011 (UTC)
:You need to add some code to MediaWiki:Common.js to enable the countdown feature. Unfortunately, only admins can do it. Let me know if there's an admin here that'll do it and I'll post the code. --User:Klock101|Klock101 15:03, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
::Didn't realise that you were an admin. Head over to the MediaWiki:Common.js page and copy and paste the code below to the bottom of it.

//
// Usage example:
//

//
// Javascript disabled.
function updatetimer(i) {
var now = new Date();
var then = timersi.eventdate;
var diff = count=Math.floor((then.getTime()-now.getTime())/1000);
// catch bad date strings
if(isNaN(diff)) {
timersi.firstChild.nodeValue = '** ' + timersi.eventdate + ' **' ;
return;
}
// determine plus/minus
if(diff<0) {
diff = -diff;
var tpm = 'T plus ';
} else {
var tpm = 'T minus ';
}
// calcuate the diff
var left = (diff%60) + ' seconds';
diff=Math.floor(diff/60);
if(diff > 0) left = (diff%60) + ' minutes ' + left;
diff=Math.floor(diff/60);
if(diff > 0) left = (diff%24) + ' hours ' + left;
diff=Math.floor(diff/24);
if(diff > 0) left = diff + ' days ' + left
timersi.firstChild.nodeValue = tpm + left;
// a setInterval() is more efficient, but calling setTimeout()
// makes errors break the script rather than infinitely recurse
timeoutsi = setTimeout('updatetimer(' + i + ')',1000);
}
function checktimers() {
//hide 'nocountdown' and show 'countdown'
var nocountdowns = getElementsByClassName(document, 'span', 'nocountdown');

Awesome. The template works fine, and I added it to the front page. Thanks for the help. User:Dorgles|Dorgles 17:55, June 16, 2011 (UTC)
The script currently doesn't know the difference between singular and plural. I recommend replacing the appropriate lines with
// calcuate the diff
var left = (diff%60) + ' second' + ((diff%60) !== 1 ? 's' : '');
diff=Math.floor(diff/60);
if(diff > 0) left = (diff%60) + ' minute' + ((diff%60) !== 1 ? 's ' : ' ') + left;
diff=Math.floor(diff/60);
if(diff > 0) left = (diff%24) + ' hour' + ((diff%60) !== 1 ? 's ' : ' ') + left;
diff=Math.floor(diff/24);
if(diff > 0) left = diff + ' day' + ((diff%60) !== 1 ? 's ' : ' ') + left;
Modulo ops and concatenations are very cheap, so performance isn't an issue. —User:Shidou|ShidouUser talk:Shidou|T/Special:Contributions/Shidou|C 21:40, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

== Wordmark ==
An administrator should use the Wikia theme designer to upload a wordmark for more aesthetically pleasing cross-wiki navigation. :What exactly were you thinking of? I'd be glad to fix it, so long as there are enough solid ideas; personally I think the current one is ok, but it would Be Neat to make One in the human revolution gold Font, or One in deus ex title screen style (though itd Be difficult and it may Not work with the hr esque Theme we have right now.) User:Dorgles|Dorgles 22:29, August 5, 2011 (UTC)
:: The current wordmark is text, not an image, so it doesn't look right when juxtaposed to other Wikia wordmarks (for example, http://sanctum.wikia.com/wiki/User:Shidou). I originally thought about using the image I uploaded and linked above, but a friend of mine tried to make a decent logo: http://i.imgur.com/dkwmc.png. == New Background ==
I was wondering if anyone else wanted to change the background of the wiki from that simple black we have right now to some kind of image. This is only an example, but what do you think of http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/8634/newpage.jpg? Do you like it? Do you prefer the current one? Do you like the idea, with different images? --User:Dorgles|Dorgles 07:19, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
Anything is better than pitch black, I say. Though a contrast between yellow-blue is kind of meh. Not saying that we shouldn't have JC showcased there, but it breaks the dark-gold theme of the site. User:-S-|-S- 14:10, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
Maybe theres a better image of jc? User:Dorgles|Dorgles 14:28, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

:Its still very blue. You think itd look ok next to the rest of the site? User:Dorgles|Dorgles 19:25, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

:Alright, heres it with that image you recommended http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/5594/example1v.jpg. Its still blue, but theres less white so its more tolerable. User:Dorgles|Dorgles 00:18, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
:
:I like that. You might also put a black-gold gradient over JC's part of the background and see how that looks too. User:-S-|-S- 00:52, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
:: For me that blue area completely breaks the Golden-Black theme of this wiki. It will be much better to see a golden-black image instead of blue one. -- User:Snfonseka|Snfonseka User_talk:Snfonseka|(Talk) 07:12, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
:: what image would you suggest for the right side? Should it be a person or a location? User:Dorgles|Dorgles 14:24, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
::: This one looks nice. Should the background stay transparent or should it just be solid black? User:Dorgles|Dorgles 14:59, August 10, 2011 (UTC)
:::: I say either give the background a colour or darken the image because the image is currently too prominent for me. —User:Shidou|ShidouUser talk:Shidou|T/Special:Contributions/Shidou|C 22:30, August 10, 2011 (UTC)

As seen on the image, when the screen resolution is high (1920x1080), background image is shown like that. == Milwaukee hostages have a timer ==
I was playing Deus Ex human revolution and I was told the the hostages were aready dead when I was in the chopper, but everyone online seems to say that the hostages can be save without too much difficalty. I think they died because I screwed around to much before the mission. If someone can commfirm that the hostages do have a timer, then there should be a warning placed in the walkthrough
Yes. If you wait too long before going to the factory, they'll be dead befor you even arrive. Sarif even tells you to hurry up over the Infolink several times. User:-S-|-S- 14:13, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
==Colour Scheme==
Any chance of changing this to white on black rather than black on white? Aesthetically, I can see why white-on-black was chosen, but for reading most people prefer black-on-white. I'm a capable copy editor and I'm willing to spend time proofreading and correcting, but not in white-on-black. What do other people think?
: I personally like this color scheme better, it suits the aesthetic of DXHR more. And I disagree that black on white is easier to read. If anything, it strains your eyes a lot more since white is the brightest color; being the equivalent to having a flashlight constantly shined into your eyes. But no, the white background wouldn't fit this wiki at all. -- User:ResistanZ|ResistanZ 19:39, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
==The DX:HR comic series==
There's a lot of information that can be added to the wiki from the comics, if anyone is interested. -- User:ResistanZ|ResistanZ 19:31, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
: Nevermind, I was being stupid. There is information from the comics in here already. I assumed there wasn't because I tried looking up "dragon fire implant" and saw that it wasn't an entry. My bad. -- User:ResistanZ|ResistanZ 20:54, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
== Adding Citations ==
I thought it would be great to add citations to the pages. I often come onto the pages to get little bits of info and have noticed things written that I don't recall ever being seen in game or in a novel or comic. I don't know where the authors got their information from so that why I haven't done any editing myself.

Should be worth mentioning that it's possible, though not often practical to hide underneath a patrolling boxguard by crouching. The bot's reaction to this is also kind of interesting.
