'''Rauchstadt''' is a small suburb near Trier, Germany and is a location in Deus Ex: Invisible War. It served as the headquarters of the Knights Templar in 2072.
==History==
A poor suburb that had seen hard times after the Collapse, a large Church can be found in town, but it was abandoned as traditional religions were replaced by The Order after the Collapse.
Knights Templar forces eventually pushed out the last stragglers and began to use the church as their own base of operations. Both the Church itself and the underlying sewers are guarded by heavily armed Templar Paladins, various Turrets, and a few SP69/75 Aero security bot|Aero Bots.
==Behind the scenes==
Its name translates to English as Smoke Town.
