'''Noisemakers''' are somewhat rare type of grenade found only in ''Deus Ex: Invisible War ''that are used to distract enemies. Upon being thrown, a noisemaker grenade will emit a loud recording of someone speaking, usually drawing humanoid enemies and most sentient, mobile bots to its location. These are best used in stealthy or Humanist Gameplay|Pacifistic runs, as they can disrupt even the tightest patrols, such as the exterior of Mako Ballistics Seattle where being seen can result in the player being chased by SSC guards, HS-66 Hunter-Seeker bot|Hunter-Seekers, and several Turrets at the same time. Remember that they can even be used in standard runs, as the player can get the jump on enemies occupied with a noisemaker, much like the Spiderbomb|friendly spider bot. Noisemaker grenades are rare, so the player should conserve what they do find for the most dangerous groups in the game, such as heavily armed Templar ones in Trier and Antarctica|Antarctica.
