MJ12 Missile Silo

File:MJ12Missilesilo.jpg|thumb|284px
The '''MJ12 Missile Silo''' is a location in Deus Ex. Although it was originally an X-51 base, Bob Page sent a large squad of MJ12 soldiers and bots, led by Howard Strong to kill its inhabitants and use its missile launch systems to destroy Vandenberg. After infiltrating the MJ12 Ocean Lab and finding the Containment Shield, JC is sent here to disarm the warhead. The surface of the base consists of 2 notable features:
*A Fenced in main area, several buildings patrolled by Page Bravo-3 Peacebringers and MJ12 Troopers. Houses an elevator and staircase that lead deeper into the base. 2 Guard towers house snipers, and each ground-level gate is locked.
*An exterior perimeter guarded by Doberman Pinschers. At one corner is a guard tower where 3 Troopers are playing a card game. This tower has its own catwalk leading into the gated center. In another corner, the missile silo itself can be found, though the trapdoor leading into it is locked from the inside and is unbreakable.
Once in the base's interior, the player must bypass several heavy blast doors to get to the control center, which is guarded by 3 Men in Black and MJ-12 Commandos. Once the missile has been redirected, the player can venture inside the Silo itself. The Silo consists of 6 "levels", or circular catwalks around the Rocket. Level 1 is flooded with coolant, level 2 consists of Howard Strong on a forklift, and level 3 contains 2 Chiang Arcbot M2 robots. Level 4 houses a Matsu-Gravas R-118 Repair bot, and levels 5 and 6 are guarded by several extremely dangerous enemies, such as MiBs and Commandos. Level 5 is connected to the base by a long hallway, and level 6 opens out to the courtyard's perimeter by a one-way trapdoor.

Im afraid it is spelled Federova, with an '''e'''. Check the book for proof.User:Dorgles|Dorgles 21:14, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

While I don't question that, the in-game credits from the press-release beta have her listed as Fedorova. User:-S-|-S- 00:43, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

:Then Im really not sure what to call her. I set a redirect for "fedorova", but Im not sure which is more credible, the book, or the game.User:Dorgles|Dorgles 16:45, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

== Editable again? ==

This could really do with an update, can we have this avaiable for editing again? User:-S-|-S- 16:11, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
:I don't have a problem unlocking it, but I only if editors can refrain from moving it excessively. User:Dorgles|Dorgles 16:38, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

== The name ==

Sorry to get back to this again, but I think this should be renamed to Fedorova. The main sources of this wiki are the games after all, and other press materials are secondary. I believe the added trivia about the name suffices in this case.

Fair Enough. I set it back to Fedorova. User:Dorgles|Dorgles 19:55, August 6, 2011 (UTC)

In what world does that thing look like a Russian?

:Its mentioned in the book last time I checked. User:Dorgles|Dorgles 20:00, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

== Can she be spared? ==

Right after the fight with Yelena Eliza asks if Adam will save her. Was this implemented in-game? The only thing i could do with her after the cutscene was to loot her body.

She's dead by the time cinematic ends, all the time. User:-S-|-S- 21:29, August 31, 2011 (UTC)

== P.E.P.S. Effectiveness ==
P.E.P.S. does effect the boss and allows you to stun her but is slower to switch from than the stun gun and gives you less time to attack.

== Eliza's Commentary ==

So Eliza makes many comments about Fedorova about the battle - would it be wise to add this to Fedorova's or Eliza's page, possibly as trivia? The "broken inside" comment got me thinking - Anon 7 Sep 2011 7:56PM (AEST)

== Video Guide ==

So the page had a 'video guide' attached to the end that was supposed to show 'tips and tricks for how to beat her' but I do not know why this would be included in the article at all. There are dozens of such videos on youtube and likely many more will show up in the next few weeks/months. If the intention is not to embed every one of them then what is it about ''this'' video that makes it so special and therefor worthy of inclusion? Having watched the video it didn't seem to stand out at all from the others on youtube and, to be frank, was not a very good guide and contained some misinformation to boot.
