Once installed, all shots fired from a weapon will explode on contact, increasing damage to enemies, organic and Bot|inorganic, and giving the weapon a useful spread. Fragmentary rounds are best used with the shotgun, as it increases the spread even more and increases damage. This is one of the less rare mods in the game, and likely will only be kept on one or two weapons, so it can be used liberally.
